My Story

Tamra Evonne is a stationery company in Los Angeles that uses the latest fashion trends to create unique invitations, save the dates, and more for today’s modern couple.  When planning my own wedding, I noticed there was a need for something different in this industry.  Being a former fashion designer, I saw an exciting opportunity to take my experience in fashion as well as illustration and apply it to a new canvas: paper.

Since an early age of six years old, I developed a love for drawing and being creative.  As a child growing up in Chicago, I would wake up at dawn and draw a still life before visiting the Art Institute of Chicago.  This passion lead me to pursue the world of fine art and learn all the fundamentals.  I graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.F.A. in Illustration and moved to Los Angeles where I received my Fashion Design degree at FIDM.  I worked as a fashion designer for the contemporary clothing brand Velvet by Graham & Spencer for over 5 years.

In 2012, Tamra Evonne was launched and I could not be happier to see my vision come to life and most importantly bring happiness to my clients. My collections are concept-based, fashion inspired artwork that mix mediums of hand-drawn, hand-painted and computer-drawn elements.  Clients can either use one of these concepts as a starting point, or work with me on a completely customized design.  I then cater to each of my client's needs and budgets through different printing options including high-quality flat digital press, letterpress or foil printing.  My unique invitations and illustrations have been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings and Sonoma Magazine.

I truly believe that an invitation sets the tone for your event. And when it’s inspired by fashion with an overall concept, color story and cohesive vision, you’re sure to set an unforgettable one.
